Fight goes on to clear the school
Staff and parents have vowed to press ahead for an independent inquiry into the circumstances leading to the closure of TNS despite encouraging signs that a new provider may have been found to re-establish a provision on the site of the ‘old’ school.
Both groups have welcomed recent developments but are insistent that if there has been wrongdoing on the part of external agencies, this should be exposed and measures taken to ensure that such tragedies never happen again.
The suffering caused by the abrupt closure surpasses any concerns about safeguarding in the school and draws the spotlight onto the actions of the regulators and certain local authorities.
As many have stated over the last few months, “the truth always comes out”.
